Informational television advertising raises awareness about aging hospital facilities.

Early polling conducted to test the feasibility of a bond measure for Tahoe Forest Hospital indicated just 54% support and very low levels of awareness of the hospital’s facility needs. Accordingly, TRAMUTOLA planned and executed a public information campaign to raise awareness of the hospital and its aging facilities, utilizing informational TV ads, direct mail and focused community outreach. Following this outreach effort and a fine-tuning of the bond proposal, a tracking survey indicated that voter support for bond measure had increased by nearly 20%. Ultimately, the $98 million bond measure passed with 72% support.
