A grassroots approach helps to gain approvals for a well-designed infill project in Oakland, CA.
To demonstrate local support for a well planned, thoughtfully designed infill project in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland, CA, this brochure with a postage paid response card was distributed door to door to every neighborhood household, handed out to hundreds of local residents at local events and mailed to thousands of homes in the Temescal area.
The brochure emphasized the past history of Telegraph Avenue when shops and stores were bustling and the streets were meeting places for the community. Hundreds of resident mailed back response cards in support of the project and helped gain city council approval of a quality project.
