TRAMUTOLA Tax Elections Pass 200 Milestone

Six new tax election victories in the first six months of the year have taken TRAMUTOLA tax election wins to 203. Even at a conservative estimate that equates to about $22 billion in voter-approved local funding generated by these measures. Factor in that the majority of the measures required two-thirds voter support to pass, then the company’s claim of being “California’s tax election experts” is not without foundation.
From its inception, 22 years ago, TRAMUTOLA has worked to help public agencies prepare for and pass, local tax measures. Working with school and college districts, hospitals and healthcare districts, cities and counties throughout California, the firm has won a reputation for its unique approach to passing local tax measures. These strategies have been trademarked as “The Discipline of Winning™” which Larry Tramutola describes in his popular book “Sidewalk Strategies: Seven Winning Steps for Candidates, Causes and Communities.”
“It really is all about hard work,” says Tramutola commenting on his firm’s tax election record. “Asking voters to increase their taxes is never easy. But it’s not rocket science either. Winning tax elections requires sound strategy and honest communication with voters, but most of all, disciplined hard work.”
So having broken the 200 threshold what’s the next challenge for TRAMUTOLA?
“To be honest, we're not concerned with milestones,” said Larry Tramutola. “Every measure we work on is critical to the community we are working in. We are never complacent about what we do. We try to learn from each campaign and stay fresh in the way we approach each new measure. In my opinion that is what sets us apart.”
